PNG and PDF
PNG is a lossless image format that works well for screenshots, graphics, diagrams and images with sharp edges or transparency. A PDF can place those images into a page-based document that is easier to print and share.
Page size and orientation
A4 and Letter are common document sizes, while A5 is useful for smaller documents. Portrait works well for tall content and landscape can be useful for wide graphics. When a specific organization or printer has requirements, follow those requirements.
Use the original PNG files when image detail matters, and check the preview to make sure important edges, diagrams and small text fit comfortably inside the selected margins.
Privacy and file handling
The intended production workflow can create the PDF in the browser using a PDF generation library. Selected PNG files do not need to be uploaded to a server for the client-side workflow. Review the PixelCanvas Studio Privacy Policy for the site's broader analytics, advertising and data practices.
