About the Image Cropper
PixelCanvas Studio's Image Cropper helps remove unwanted areas from an image and prepare it for a specific shape or composition. You can use a free crop, select a common aspect ratio, apply a quick positioning preset, rotate the image and download the cropped result.
How to use the Image Cropper
- Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
- Select free crop or choose an aspect-ratio preset.
- Choose a quick crop position if useful.
- Select a rotation angle if the image needs to be turned.
- Select Crop Image and review the result.
- Download the cropped image.
Free crop and aspect ratios
Free crop is useful when you want flexible composition. Fixed ratios are useful when a destination requires a particular shape, such as a square profile image or a wide thumbnail. Cropping removes parts of the original image, so review the composition before downloading.
Rotating and positioning
The cropper can rotate an image by 90°, 180° or 270°. Quick position presets provide a convenient way to favor the center, top, bottom, left or right area of the source image when creating a crop.
Keep important faces, text and other key subjects away from the crop boundary whenever possible. For a precise crop, use the original high-resolution image.
Privacy and file handling
